This course is recommended to all users of marine radios. A Radio Operators licence is required for all operators of VHF and MF/HF marine radios. Whilst a licence is not required for 27MHz radios the course teaches correct operating procedures and is invaluable when operating any marine radio.

The course and exam is conducted by one of our approved invigilators during or at the end of your sailing course.
